I ALWAYS SAVE BUT I NEVER SAVED

I always save my photos in my computer
I always save the lessons in my brain
I always save my friends' name in my memory
I always save the stories in my mind

But.......

I never saved the trees
I never saved the water
I never saved the animals
I never saved my mother Earth

I always save but I never saved!!!

AMMAR AND HIS STOMACH ACHE

Yesterday I was playing in the school ground at PE period. I fell down and my knee was bleeding. I went to the school clinic. The nurse was busy. So I waited there.
At that time a small cute boy came to the clinic. His face was so happy as he does not have any problem to visit the clinic.
He called me "Hello, Hello, Hello, Hi! My name is Ammar. What you? I am in FS2 G. What you? I stomach pain. What you?" All of us laughed.
Nurse asked him "Why did you come?"
He told, "I stomach pain. I eat 3 chappathis. My cookies that boy take. I stomach pain because he take my cookies. I hungry." All of us laughed again.
The nurse just checked him and gave him a toffee. He left happily. When the nurse was applying medicine on my knee, he came again and thanked the nurse.

THE SPOOK PALACE

            It was my holiday time. Pappa had booked an old palace to spend our holiday time. I was so excited. I felt really amazed when I saw that beautiful palace. I asked to my eyes, “Is this true my dear eyes?”
            I ran towards the palace. I just wanted to see the name of the palace written on a board near the gate. It was covered with the leaves of an itchy plant. I took a piece of stick and moved the leaves. ‘THE SPOOK PALACE’. I really laughed by reading that name.
            While I was sleeping at night, I heard my mamma calling me “Cuckoo.” I know that mamma never calls me ‘cuckoo’, she always calls me ‘chelu’. So I thought that pappa may be mimicking mamma to trick me. I told, “pappa, don’t try to trick me” and turned. I saw a white frock..... I was so scared that there is nobody in it, but it looked like a girl wearing it. It had earrings, necklace, bangles, gloves, shoes, socks, etc. I screamed at my top voice. Mamma ran and came to my room. Suddenly it vanished.
 “What happened to you? Why did you scream?”
“Nothing mamma, nothing.”
My heart was breaking off and I was shivering like anything. Mamma touched on my forehead to check my temperature.
“Oh! You have high temperature! You lie down here; I’ll prepare medicinal tea for you.”
“I’m scared mamma. Please don’t let me alone. I’ll sit with pappa.”
“But pappa has gone somewhere outside. Ok, you come with me to the kitchen.”
            I held her dress and moved with her to the kitchen. She prepared and gave me the tea. But when I looked into the glass, it was full of blood. I fainted and fell down. Mamma sprinkled some water on my face and took me to the bedroom. The whole night I had high fever. Pappa and mamma could not sleep that night. I kept on requesting them to leave the palace.
Pappa decided to go to my uncle’s house to spend the remaining holidays. Early morning, we started from there. When the car was passing the gate, I just looked back. I saw a very pretty girl with that white frock standing on the steps. She gave me a cute smile, waved her hands and vanished. I hugged my mamma and sat peacefully in the car.
Yesterday our English teacher gave us a topic 'A Haunted House' and asked us to write something about it. This is what I wrote.

EARTH DAY

The Earth day!
It's our mother's day!
The day to thank
our mother Earth;
for caring us,
for protecting us,
for feeding us while hungry,
for giving water while thirsty,
for patting us with
her windy hands,
for making us happy with
fragrant and colourful flowers,
for making us alive,
for being the best mother.
It's our duty to
love and protect her.
But how we thank her?
We just do nothing,
nothing, nothing, nothing.....

MY WORLD

A cute flower could be my beautiful garden;
A clear aquarium could be my blue ocean;
A lovely pet could be my amazing zoo;
A tasty fruit could be my dearest orchard;
A pretty doll could be my wonderful family;
A trusty friend could be my whole world!

MARIA AND DOROTHY

In a village there lives a girl named Maria. She is 5 years old. She is a good girl. She likes to read many books. She also likes to write. Always she is first in her school. Her teachers, friends, neighbours and parents like her. But one of her classmate Dorothy does not like her.

One day Dorothy painted on her arms herself. It was like a pinching mark. When she finished the painting she went near a tree and sat under the tree. Then she acted like crying.

The maths teacher came there and asked her “what happened, Dorothy? Why are you crying?”

“Ngyee ngyee. Teacher, Maria pinched on my arms. ngyee ngyee .” Dorothy said.

No, Maria will not do it. Teacher whispered herself. She got an idea. “Come Dorothy I will apply water on it”

“No, teacher, it’s ok, no problem.”

“Why do you fear? Don’t be afraid. Come with me.” Teacher slowly pulled her and walked to the toilet.

When the teacher applied water on her arms, the mark disappeared.

“What is this Dorothy?”

“Nothing mam…. I’m… I’m sorry mam”

“OK. Now I give you an excuse. Don’t repeat this.” Dorothy felt ashamed.

When she reached home, her mother asked her, “I got a call from your maths teacher. Why are you doing such bad things, Dorothy?”

“I am sorry mom. All are appreciating Maria always. But nobody tell about me. I feel jealous and angry.” Dorothy said.

“If you behave like this, how the others can appreciate you?”

“I promise you mom, I will never behave like this again. I will try to be a good girl.” Her mother hugged and kissed her.

One week later, the supervisor came to the class and said, “My dear students, the school has decided to give a scholarship to a child each month. This month’s scholarship goes to Maria. She will get 500 Dirhams as scholarship. Next month it will be to anyone of you who behaves and studies well”

Dorothy thought, “I will try to get it next time.”

MY SWEET UNCLE

When I'm sad.....
with some kind words,
he makes me happy!

When I'm scared......
with a warm care,
he gives me courage!

When I'm wrong.....
with a friendly mood,
he corrects me!

When I'm happy.....
with some stories and songs,
he supports me!

He's Understanding
He's Noble
He's Caring
He's Liberal
He's Extraordinary

It's none other than you
my sweet 'UNCLE'!!!

THE MOON TRIP

I wore my space suit earlier. My pappa and mamma were getting ready. Although I was excited, I was little scared too. My pappa entered into the cockpit of the spaceship. I sat near my mamma and fastened the seat belt.
3....2....1......Start..... I hold my mamma tightly.

Within seconds, my fear flew away. I experienced a great excitement.

After some time, we arrived on the moon. I was really puzzled by the sight of the moon. When I look from the Earth, it is so cute and soft. But, actually, there were full of rocks and craters. We felt weightless. The Earth was like a picture while watching from there.

I saw some foot prints there. But I could not recognize the foot print of Neil Armstrong. Anyway I wrote my name there. Those who visit moon can see my name there in future. We took some photos also. I collected some pieces of rocks to show my friends.

While returning to the Earth, the space ship's speed increased suddenly. My pappa contacted the control room and they helped us to return to the normal speed. We arrived back safely.

Even if I'm happy and excited in my uncle moon's house, I cannot stay without my mother Earth.

*Inspired by the story of Neil Armstrong.

REAL WEALTH

I am a very rich man. But I did not have a kind heart.

One day, I saw a man walking on the street with torn clothes and a dirty plate in his hands. He came near me and patted on his stomach. He begged me for food. I pushed him and went away.

The next day, I saw him again. He just smiled at me with his yellow teeth. I turned my face to the other side. After a while, when I turned again, I saw him helping a very old man to cross the noisy and crowded street. I felt shame on myself.

I realized that the real wealth is not money or jewels, but a kind heart.

A PAGE FROM MY DIARY

Wow.... I am really very happy today!

Since a long time, I’m thinking about a matter. But I have never told this to anyone yet. Today I shared that message in a hidden folder in my brain with my class.

During the second period, one of the housekeeping uncles came to my class with a memo. All of us were doing our class works and we continued with it. The very next period, our principal and supervisor came to our class and every single child stood up and wished them. We did not forget to thank them also while they leave. My doubt again aroused and I decided to ask it to my teacher.

“Ma’am, May I ask you one doubt? Pardon me if my doubt is silly.”

“Of course you can” she said.

“Ma’am, when someone comes to our class we used to wish them. But why don’t we wish these uncles who do a lot of help to us?”

She smiled at me and shared this with the class. One of the students in my class murmured that it’s not important to wish them. No one said anything and we continued our class work. After two or three periods, one uncle came to our class and our whole class stood up and wished him. We all could see the brightness in his face mixed with excitement and happiness. I was really really really so happy. And this is my happiest and most favourite day in my life.

I hope that our whole school will follow this forever.

THE RAINBOW IN ME

The rainbow that makes my life beautiful;
The dew drops those pat me when I am sad;
The roses those give fragrance to my wishes;
The stars those daily take me to paradise;
My pupils those explore the world for me.

In my each heartbeat,
I like to present them a gift-
a palace of love!

My pa, ma, grandpa,
grandma, uncle and aunt-
the light rays those lead me forward.
And we all lead a gifted boy-
my sweet little cousin!

NOTHING IS PRECIOUS THAN YOU!

Even if I have a beautiful crown,
a huge palace,
a necklace of diamonds
and hundreds of silk dress;
they are not much valuable for me.

Even if I am blind,
don’t have a house,
not enough food
and nothing to play;
I don’t bother about it.

It’s that because
I will never get
someone like you.
I can never forget you,
I can never leave you.

you always encourage me;
you always give a smile to me;
you share everything with me;
you never try to tease me;
you console me when I’m sad.

I am so lucky
to have you as my best friend.
I’m proud to say that
in this whole world
“nothing is precious than you!”

*I dedicate this poem to my best friend niranjana*

FIREFLY

Oh dear tiny firefly,
you twinkle like a little star.
Can I also join with you?
It will be so fun
to twinkle in the darkness
and to fly in the air.

UNCLE MOON AND STARS

Uncle moon comes in the sky daily night.
When I smile, he also smiles with me.
There are lots of stars also with him.
The sky is filled with cute stars.
Are these tiny stars his children?
I wish to sing and play with uncle moon and stars.

MY MOM

"Mom, why do the birds not play with me?"
"But they often come to see you, my dear!"
"Mom sometimes I get so afraid, mom!"
"Don't worry, mom is always here with you!"
Thus my mom gives me confidence and courage!
I sing and dance happily always!
I enjoy the beauty of nature with my mom!
I experience the goodness of world with my mom!

WIND

You bring me sweet smell and cold
You play hide and seek with me
You hide in a secret place and whisper to me
You give thousands of kisses on my cheeks
But you often leave without telling me any word
Where do you go my dear wind?
